Work has been fairly interesting. Having a technical job has given me ample opportunities to explore the types of machinery this world has to offer. Not a bad way to spend the day, if I must say so myself.

Well, well, well. I’m all for traversing for business reasons, but ending up on a different planet certainly wasn’t what I had in mind. Oh well, what’s one to do but learn to adapt? I have to admit, it was rather amusing learning how to figure out this little contraption; this entire place deserves a thorough scan in the near future. Additionally, I've been told I'm supposed to be an "engineer apprentice." Just what I wanted to do--take things apart for the sake of taking them apart.

Ahh. With so many new endeavors comes new opportunities to make money. Preferably gold, but there’s probably some sort of conversion rate around here, hm? ... Of course, that’s planning a little further ahead than necessary.
